Coventry Boy Robbed At Knife Point

A fifteen year old Coventry boy was robbed at knife point in the city yesterday.

The youngster was walking in Blackwell Road, Edgwick at lunchtime when he was approached from behind by two Asian youths.

They held a knife with a five inch blade across his throat and demanded his jewellery.

They stole a gold sovereign ring valued at £95, a gold onyx ring valued at £95, a gold rope neck chain worth £85, a mobile telephone worth £60 and £16 in cash. The youngster was not hurt.

One attacker is said to be about 18 years old, 5ft 5ins tall and was wearing a black bomber jacket and black jogging bottoms. The other was also Asian, about 20 years old and 5ft 10ins tall. He had a moustache and beard and wore a red jacket.
