Police are hunting two armed men who held a security guard at gunpoint in Coventry.

The men struck at 12.30pm today in Barlow Road, Aldermans Green. They held a handgun to the man’s head before making off with a cash box.

They two robbers made their getaway down Milverton Road aboard a Honda CBR 400cc Smokin’ Joe Replica motorbike, which had been stolen from Hinckley a few days ago.

The man who wielded the gun is described as a while male, with a green waist length jacket with an orange lining and dark jeans. The second man had a black jacket and dark jeans. They were both wearing crash helmets.

The security dye was activated on the cash box but it is not known if any cash was taken.
