Telegraph Driver Charged With Dangerous Driving

A delivery driver employed by The Coventry Evening Telegraph has been charged with causing death by driving dangerously.

Fifty-five years old Denise Nash, who lived in Falcon Avenue, Binley, Coventry was riding her cycle along Clifford Bridge Road, Walsgrave on October 12th last year when she was in a collision with a Telegraph van.

She suffered fatal injuries and died in hospital.

The van driver was 38 year old Mark Hollis from William Mckee Close, Binley. He has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and will answer to the charge in Coventry Magistrates Court when a date has been set.
