Coventry
Building Society Robbed
An
armed robber is being hunted after he stole money from a branch of
Coventry Building Society yesterday.
The
offender joined a queue in the branch in Binley Road at 10.50am.
When
he got to the counter he produced a bag and told the cashier to fill
it.
He
said that he had a weapon in the bag and pointed something at the
cashier.
The
bag was filled with money and the man fled.
No-one
was injured in the attack, and police are calling on any witnesses to
come forward and call them on 024 7653 9040.
He
is white, between 5ft 8ins and 6ft, medium build and was clean-shaven.
