Motorist
Dies After Truck Collision
A motorist died after a smash with a truck
that closed a main road near Southam for all of yesterday
afternoon.
The man, thought to be from the Coventry
area, was in collision with a 28-tonne lorry on the A423 Coventry
to Banbury road.
The accident happened by the Elf Garage, on
the southern edge of the Southam bypass.
The road was closed from noon to 6pm on
Monday afternoon.
Warwickshire Police expect to name the dead
man, who was driving a Rover 100 model, later today.
