Baseball Bat Threat To Staff In Restaurant

Two staff alone in a Little Chef Restaurant were robbed by men wielding baseball bats who fled with £1,000.

The robbers stuck at the site in Henley in Arden about 9.20pm last night.

Warwickshire Police said:

“Both members of staff were threatened by two men who came into the Little Chef and threatened them with baseball bats.

“The two men had scarves over their faces and hoods over their heads

“A 16-year-old was threatened and forced to open both the till and the safe. Both men then left in the direction on Hockley Heath.”

One was said to be 6ft tall and slim, wearing a blue jacket with a hood. His accomplice was only 5ft tall and wearing a red fleece jacket.
