Drugs Raid On Graduates Pub

Two Coventry men were due to be questioned by detectives today after were drugs were seized in a raid on a city centre pub.

Graduates, formerly the Lady Godiva, in Jordan Well, was raided shortly before 9pm on Friday evening.

A quantity of drugs believed to be ecstasy was seized and two men in their 20s were taken into custody.

A police spokesman said the raid was carried out as part of a long-running campaign against drugs in the city.

He added:

“The operation should send a clear message to those involved in drug abuse in Coventry that their actions will not be tolerated in the city.”
