Baseball Bat Used In
Robbery
Police
are hunting a masked raider who threatened a Coventry shop
assistant with a baseball bat.
The
60-year-old was working in Clifford Bridge stores in Willenhall at
7pm last night when the attacker burst into the shop.
He
demanded cash and emptied the till of £150 before fleeing with an
accomplice, who had been waiting outside.
The
attacker was about 5ft 3ins and slim. He was wearing a black
balaclava, a dark jacket and dark trousers.
The
assistant was uninjured but left shaken by ordeal. Witnesses
should call police on 024 7653 9040.
