Masked Raiders Hit Coventry Pub

Masked men forced their way into a Coventry pub and forced the manger to hand over a large sum of money.

They knocked on the door of The Cedars in Barker Butts Lane, Coundon at 2am on Sunday morning.

When the manager opened the door to see who was there he was forced inside by the men.

They took him to the office and made him give them a “large quantity of money”.

Police would not reveal exactly how much money was taken, but said the men were all in their 20s, stockily built and were between 5ft 8ins and 6ft.
