Car Crash Escapees
Being Hunted
Police
are trying to trace the driver of a car who fled the scene after
crashing into another vehicle in Coventry.
The
passengers and the driver of the red Nissan Cherry ran away after
the accident at the junction of Proffitt Avenue with Dudley Street
in Bell Green.
The
car collided with a white Fiat Uno at 7.48pm on Friday. The woman
driving the Fiat suffered whiplash, and her 19-year-old passenger
was treated for shock.
Police
are appealing for anyone who saw where the driver and passengers
of the Nissan Cherry went, or who knows anything else about the
crash, to call 024 7653 9020.
