Pensioner Killed In Rugby Road Crash

A 78-year-old Rugby died yesterday when he lost control of his car and hit a tree just yards from his home.

Fredrick Walter Bosworth was certified dead at the scene following the accident in Kingsley Avenue, Hillmorton at 11am.

Mr Bosworth lost control of his car, a Volvo 340, and hit a tree. No other vehicles or pedestrians were involved in the crash.

It is thought that a medical condition may have contributed to Mr Bosworth’s accident.

In a separate incident a 26-year-old man from Staverton in Northamptonshire was airlifted to hospital after he lost control of his Mazda RX7 on the A45 Dunchurch Road yesterday at 7am.
