Man Plummets To Death From Farm Roof

A man working on a farm near Leamington plummeted to his death after falling through a roof in mysterious circumstances yesterday.

Police and paramedics were called to Churchland Farm in Harbury at 4.40pm following reports of the accident.

But they were unable to do anything for the 60-year-old man who had fallen through the corrugated iron roof and landed on a concrete floor below.

He was later identified as Ronnie Langford, from Central Drive, Bishops Itchington.

Police say there are suspicious circumstances surrounding the accident and the coroner has been informed. An inquest is to be opened shortly.
