Chips Are Down For Coventry Kebab Thieves

Police are appealing for people to be on the look-out for dodgy kebabs following a bizarre raid on a Coventry chippy.

Thieves broke into a storeroom at the back of Friendly Plaice in Keresley Green Road, Keresley between 10.45pm on Monday and 11.30am yesterday.

They took two kebab machines, a potato rumbler, which peels potatoes, a chipper, a food heater, a pressure washer and a Casio till.

In total the equipment is worth about £4,500. Police are appealing to anyone who knows its whereabouts, or who has been offered equipment on the cheap to contact them on 024 7653 9020.
