Man Hit With Missile Fired From Internet Gun

Police confiscated a gun bought illegally over the internet by a 15-year-old after he shot a man in the head with it.

The teenager fried from a window in Kenilworth and struck the man in the side of the head.

The victim did not need hospital treatment and called police after the missile was fired at 7.10pm yesterday.

After making enquiries, police discovered a ball-bearing gun which had been bought by the boy over the internet for £100.

His parents did not know that he had bought it. The gun was confiscated and further enquiries are being made.
