Man Killed As Car
Hits Lamppost
A
23-year-old man was killed on Saturday when his car crashed into a
lamppost on a busy dual-carriageway.
Nicholas
Cheshire, of Portland Drive, Nuneaton, died from his injuries when
his red Ford Fiesta crashed at 10.40pm on the southbound
carriageway of the A444 in Nuneaton.
His
passenger, a 17-year-old girl from Bedworth, was treated for minor
injuries.
Police
were today examining the wreckage of the car. They were also
looking at another car, driven by a woman aged 23 from Bedworth.

Payne, who is investigating the crash, appealed for anyone who saw
the incident, or saw how the car was being driven beforehand, to
