Teenage Girls Hurt As Driver Flees City Smash

The driver of a crashed car ran off, leaving three teenage girls injured in the back seat in Coventry.

The Vauxhall Astra smashed into three parked cars in Beake Avenue, Radford at 2.55am on Sunday.

Two Peugeot 405s and a Volvo were damaged in the collision.

The driver of the car and the front seat passenger ran away from the scene. It is not known if they were injured, and traffic police are appealing for anyone who saw or knows them to contact 024 7653 9020.

Three teenage girls, two aged 16 and one 17, were taken to hospital for treatment to head and leg injuries.
