Gun Used In Club Robbery

A steward was threatened with a gun by an armed robber as he prepared to open a club for business yesterday evening.

The man was intercepted as he opened the Camp Hill Working Men’s Club in Ramsden Avenue, Nuneaton at 6.30pm.

The offender pointed a gun at him and demanded that he be let in the building. The attacker stole cash and then escaped on foot.

He is white, in his 30s and wore a black leather coat with the collar turned up, a black open face balaclava and motorbike gloves.

Witnesses should call Nuneaton CID on 01926 415000.
