Boy Escapes Death In Bike Crash

A nine-year-old boy narrowly escaped death when he fell off his bike into the path of a car.

The lad was riding in Old Warwick Road, Lapworth on his green Raleigh when he wobbled and fell over.

He fell into the path of a Renault being driven by a 28-year-old woman from Edgbaston in Birmingham.

She jammed the brakes on and managed to avoid running the boy over.
