Coventry Man Stabbed And Thrown From Car

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed and then pushed out of a car in Coventry.

He was dumped from a blue Ford Sierra near to a zebra crossing in Swan Lane at the junction with Harnall Lane East, Hillfields, at 6pm on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old man, from Coventry, had a stab wound to his thigh. The injury is not life-threatening.

Police at Little Park Street are appealing to any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact them on 024 7653 9010 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

The man was wearing a green puffa type jacket, blue tracksuit bottoms and he was holding a beige-coloured blanket or piece of material.

He then managed to walk home and his family raised the alarm. He was limping because of the leg wound.

Police say the incident followed a dispute between the victim and the offenders.
