Man Attacked In Coventry Pub

A 21 year old man needed 20 stitches to his head after being attacked at a Coventry pub on Sunday evening.

The incident happened at the Holyhead Pub on the Holyhead Road in Coventry at about 9.30pm.

The 21year old Coundon man can only remember walking to the toilet and then needing treatment for a serious cut to the head.

The only details available about the attackers are that they were two males, one Asian and one white.

The man was taken to Coventry and Warwickshire Hospital where he was treated and discharged. It is believed that he may have been struck with a glass or a bottle.

Anyone who was in the pub at the time of the attack is asked to contact WDC Michelle Hindle at the CID at Little Park Street Police Station on 024 7653 9082.
