Robbers Hit Betting
Shop
Armed robbers struck at a Coventry
bookmakers yesterday.
The incident took place at the
William Hill betting shop in Holbrooks Lane, Holbrooks at 3pm.
Three men went into the shop armed
with handguns while the premises was full of customers.
One jumped over the counter and
grabbed a quantity of cash while a second threatened customers,
ordering them to lie on the floor.
The robbers then made off in a
silver Rover.
Two of the men are Asian and the
other one black, and all were wearing black and white bandanas.
