Scratch Card Robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man stole Lottery scratch cards from a shop in Coventry.

A man went into Brownshill Green News in Brownshill Green Road, Coventry at about 2.10pm yesterday afternoon.

He went up to the counter and pushed the female shop assistant. He then grabbed at the National Lottery scratch card display.

He stole about 1000 scratch cards and made off, leaving the woman very shaken.

The offender is described as a white man, aged in his early 20s, of slight build with a slim face. He had short dark hair which was brushed forward and a goatee beard with a bar in his eyebrow. He looked untidy and was wearing a beige/grey top.

Police at Little Park Street are appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information to call 0845 113 5000 and ask for Little Park Street CID.
