Robbery At KFC

A Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant was robbed in Coventry on Saturday.

The incident happened at 10.30pm in Walsgrave Road when two male offenders entered the premises, one carrying a handgun, the other an 8" breadknife.

They threatened a 22 year old female member of staff and snatched £200 from cash drawers. Other members of staff activated an alarm and the offenders made off in a waiting black vehicle.

One of the offenders is described as aged about 20 and of medium build. He had a pair of black tights over his head and was wearing a black jacket with the hood up and carrying a black handgun.

The other is Asian and also aged about 20. He was wearing a black cap and a black and white scarf covering the lower half of his face and a black jumper. He was carrying a green plastic-handled knife.
