Local fans of BBC2’s frenetic culinary gameshow Ready Steady Cook are in for a big surprise when they tune in to the Christmas special on Thursday 17 December at 4.25pm.

Joining presenter Fern Britton and top chefs Lesley Walters and Tony Tobin will be Dame Nanny Nora (Iain Lauchlan) and evil witch Caraboss (Katy Stephens) – hot from the Belgrade’s pantomime Sleeping Beauty – and creating mayhem and madness as well as mouth-watering Yuletide dishes!!
