New Programme To Master E-Commerce 

A new masters degree programme in e-commerce is being launched by Warwick University in a $1 million link with industry.

The internationally-renowned Warwick Manufacturing Group has teamed up with Cap Gemini Ernst and Young for the e-commerce based MSc masters degree programme in e2 Business Management.

The programme has been developed to take advantage of the new technology by examining ways of developing e-commerce.

The partnership will bring together Warwick’s expertise in manufacturing technology and management and Cap Gemini Ernst and Young's high international profile in e-commerce consulting.

Professor Kumar Bhattacharyya,  Head of the Warwick Manufacturing Group said:

"e-commerce has delivered much of the promise of earlier information technology systems.

"It has transformed the way a company can manage the interfaces and relationships between itself and its customers, suppliers and partners.

"We are delighted that Cap Gemini Ernst and Young have joined with us in bringing the undoubted benefits of e-business to the real-product sector.
