Come To The Festival And Be Healed
People
visiting this weekend Godiva Festival could find themselves leaving
in a much better shape than they arrived.
A
new tent to promote alternative therapies has been added to the attractions
in the
Memorial Park in Coventry this year.
There
will be a range of healing techniques on show and some of these will
be demonstrated by local practitioners.
They
include massage, aromatherapy, acupressure, reiki, yoga and
reflexology.
Organisers
Coventry and Warwickshire Promotions have pointed out to anyone who
might get the wrong idea that all the different techniques are
experiences fully–clothed.
Spokesman
Peter Walters said that the tent was a new idea to try and bring
something different to the festival.
On
both Saturday and Sunday there will be a “Dance of Universal
Peace”, which is a simple dance in a circle using sacred
words from all over the world.
