I'm Bill Jones and I lived at Coombe Abbey when it was a
hostel for GEC in 1963/4. After the City Council took it over they found a number of very
old roses. Is there any information available about these roses?
Incidently I lived in 35 Briars Close for about 6 years,
worked at GEC for 3 years and taught at Foxford Comp for 3 years.

I am from Walsgrave and this is what we in Coventry need,
more pages on our own city! But how about a chat room so we can meet people from our own
area, or even put a link to one so everyone from Coventry knows where to go?
Anyway, still a good page, I am trying to do my own but I
haven`t figured it out yet!
