I attended Keresley Newlands Junior School from 1957 to 1963.

The Headmistress was Mrs Jones in the Infant School and the Headmaster was Mr Douse at the Junior School. I remember the art teacher, Mr Jeffcock. My last teacher was Mrs Thompson.

I remember Martin Dogherty, Suzanne Shires, Howard Goss, Billy Green.

My Name is Martin Cooper and I have an older brother Stephen Cooper. We lived in Watery Lane, Kersley.

I am now living in New Zealand, I am married with two sons.

[20 MAR 02] SIDNEY STRINGER SCHOOL REUNION

We are holding a school reunion on Saturday 29 July 2002 @ Sidney Stringer School, Theatre from 7.30pm onwards. There will be a disco and bar.

This is for the Original Stringer kids - those who started in 1972!

I went to Barkers Butts school in Coventry (1944-48).

I remember Todd Davies and his cane, also Griffiths. I am now retired but would like to hear of anyone who remembers me.
