[14 OCT 05] CAROL & JACKIE LLOYD / BYRNE
My name is Kim Kerry Ann Farrell (née Byrne). I am now 37 years this November and have tried persistently on the internet to track down my half sisters from Coventry.

I am not too sure of exact birth dates - I was born in 1968, so think 1960ish.

There names are Carol and Jackie née Lloyd. They may be married now not too sure. Our father's surname is BYRNE, they may use that name but remember them as LLOYD.

The last time I saw and stayed with them they lived in Wyken, Coventry.

My older sister, Carol was a singer and knew Lynval and Neville of Fun Boy Three or The Specials. Their mother was named Monica. They had a lovely younger brother, but cannot remember his name but he wanted to be a drummer, he was alway drumming two sticks - strange I know but a memory.

I have tried searches on internet, missing people sites, you name it I have searched.

I have not been in touch with my father since I was 18 and don't think they are either - they were very good to me and would love to catch up with them. I have 6 brothers so would really appreciate meeting up with my sisters again.

They probably have children now, like me, she is 16. I may have nieces or nephews that I would love to meet.

If you have a way of finding them, I would be most grateful.

[10 OCT 05] CHILDRENS STORIES BY DAME LESLIE?
I have a slightly strange question. I am looking for some stories which where published in the childrens' pages of a newspaper in Coventry in the 1940's or 1950's. They were written under the name of Dame Leslie or Dame Lesley.

Let me explain why I am looking for these stories. During the years I have mentioned, a gentleman by the name of James Raymond (Ray) Barwick was either the editor or occupied another position at the newspaper. His wife, Doreen, was a fine writer and was the second Dame. My husband Tim Barwick is their youngest child and I would love to locate his mother's work for Tim and his siblings.
