Peugeot has won more plaudits for its 206 Coupe Cabriolet, with the innovative car being given the prestigious “Best Convertible” prize at the What Car? awards.

The model, which has a hard top, stunned the motor industry at the Birmingham International Motor Show, when it was voted car of the show.

Since then, more than 1,800 orders for the 2.0 litre, 16-valve engine car have been received. The main Peugeot 206 is built at Peugeot's Ryton plant, although this special edition is manufactured in France.
