Coventry's Nannies To Hook Up In Network
BY ANTONY HOPKER

Nannies in Coventry could be missing out on vital support and training and a new network is being set up to ensure that they get any help they might need.

Coventry’s Early Years and Childcare Development Partnership (EYCDP) want local nannies to come forward and get involved in a new Nanny Network, which will help them get the support, guidance and training opportunities they are entitled to.

Jo Harrison from Coventry’s Childcare Development Team says:

"At the moment there is no organised group for nannies in the city, and although we can contact those that work through agencies, the others need to come forward and get in touch with us.

“We want to set this network up to stop nannies missing out on training opportunities and support."

The network will help local nannies to:

  • Get information about training opportunities
  • Learn about local and national funding
  • Meet up to share ideas and information
  • Get regular contact with a childcare development support worker
Nannies who are interested in joining the Nanny Network should get in touch with the Childcare Development Team - call Jo Harrison on 024 7625 1022.
