[24 SEP 98] COVENTRY CITY COUNCIL PRESS RELEASE
Women's Information Guide

Coventry City Council is currently updating its popular Women’s Information Guide.

The Guide aims to sign post women to specific services, groups and organisations which can help and advise them on key issues. Subjects covered include training, employment, education, housing and accommodation, girls and young women’s activities, and advice and counselling.

Cllr Margaret Lancaster, Chair of the City Council’s Social Justice Policy Team said:

"The Women’s Information Guide is one of my Policy Team’s most popular publications. We published the last edition in 1996 and it has been in constant demand ever since. We now want to bring it completely up-to-date and would like to hear from any new organisations who would like to be included in it."

Entries in the guide are free of charge and further information can be obtained by telephoning Surinder Magra or Suky Grewal.
