[26 OCT 98] COVENTRY CITY COUNCIL PRESS RELEASE
Delays For Council Tax Enquiries

From now until December 1998 Council Tax staff are receiving intensive training in preparation for a new computer system. We are committed to providing the best service we can to all our customers, however during this period customers may experience some delays in contacting the office or in receiving their bills. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Enquiry counter staff will also need to receive this training, and this will mean the Enquiry Counter in the Council House will be closed on November 5, 6 and 9 1998. If you need to make an enquiry on these dates please telephone the number shown on your Council Tax bill.

We would like to thank our customers for bearing with us over this difficult period, and again would like to apologise for any inconvenience these arrangements may cause.
