New Service For Southam Area OfficeStratford
District Council is committed to bringing more services closer to District residents, and
as part of that process the housing advice service is to be provided at the Southam area
office.
A new housing advice 'surgery' will start at Southam area
office on Thursday 14 January 1999. The housing advice surgery will be available, for a
three month trial period, to residents in the Southam area on an appointment only basis
every Thursday at Southam area office.
The surgery will operate from 10am to 1pm, where members of
the public will be able to talk to a housing advice officer on any housing related issues.
The surgery will cover a range of matters such as,
homelessness, the housing waiting list, tenancy problems and how to try and secure rented
and low cost home ownership accommodation.

Planning surgeries are still held at Southam area office
every Tuesday afternoon from 1pm to 5pm. To make an appointment to see a planning officer
please telephone 01926 812881. Council tax and housing benefit surgeries are also held at
Southam every Wednesday morning.outs.
