[16 OCT 98] WARWICK DISTRICT COUNCIL PRESS RELEASE
Advice Surgery For Flood Victims

We are aware that the trauma of the flood goes on for many people and so to provide help we have arranged an advice surgery for ongoing problems after floods – Saturday 24 October and a new flood fund.

Advice surgery – Saturday 24 October
10.00am – 1.00pm - Leamington Spa Town Hall

There are still a number of concerns people have in relation to the floods and subsequent damage to property. These have included:

  • Loss Adjusters and assessments
  • Insurance Companies still not paying up
  • Quality of some repair work
  • Damp penetrating new work after repairs have been done

In response to these concerns, various specialists will be available to answer on these or any other matters about problems after the floods, on Saturday.

Just turn up between 10.00am and 1.00pm, if the people there cannot help directly they will try to put you in touch with somebody who can, or phone 01926 884949 between 10.00am and 1.00pm on Saturday
