Traders from all over Europe will be flocking to
Warwick next week to bring a taste of the continent to the town at a
          special market.
The event will include traders selling cheese and
clogs from Holland, waffles and beer from Belgium, wines of Europe,
          and Portuguese lace.
There will also be people selling goods from Spain,
          France, Germany and Italy.
Organisers say there will be a real buzz in the town,
as visitors to the town will be able to admire the recently
          refurbished market place.
Entertainers will bring the streets to life and the
event will be used as an opportunity to show off the town, and to
promote other events and markets in the area.
The market will run from 9am to 6pm on Friday 14 and
Saturday 15 April, and from 9am to 5pm on the Sunday.
Joe Baconnet, Town Centre Manager, said:

“The profile of these events means that we should be
attracting people from a wide area to the town, which can only
benefit us in the long term.”

Adrian Cooper of sponsors Dennis Cooper Cars said:

“It’s good to be involved with events like this,
they give us a real opportunity to support our local towns and to
raise the profile of what we do. Besides that, they’re great fun.”

Paul Skett, of EG Skett and Co, Warwick’s Saturday
          market operator, added:

            “Running the continental market
event side by side with the Saturday Market will benefit everyone in
the town. It’s a chance for
our traders to show the public how good English markets can be.”
