Moorcroft New Chief Executive of UK AthleticsCoventry’s
former 5000 metre world record holder David Moorcroft has been named as the chief
executive of UK Athletics, the sport’s governing body.
The move was widely expected after Moorcroft, who joined the BAF just before it folded,
helped found the new organisation.
He said:
"I am very pleased. I think we have the will, the
people and the vision to face our challenges with confidence."
