Crusaders Play Taunton In Round 3The
Coventry Crusaders will play Taunton of Division 2 in round 3 of the National Trophy on
Sunday 25th October. The game will be played at Blackbrook Pavilion in Taunton
at 4.15pm.
Milek Jivens will play his second game with the Coventry
Crusaders in the hope of doubling his personal score of 9 points at Plymouth, in his debut
game. Alvin Scott also wishes to play a better game , scoring more points for the
Crusaders.
Players are confident that after the loss at Plymouth last
week, they will come home winners, although Taunton knocked Division One team Solent out
of the trophy in round 2. Taunton are a high scoring team and play a very fast game and
with players such as, Dave Roper former Oxford Devils player who has a lot of experience
behind him playing for both Budweiser and Division one teams in the past.
Dip Donaldson said
"Taunton will put up a good fight, but the Crusaders
have set their sights to work together as a team to win this trophy."
