The Coventry
Crusaders have signed the "Heads of Agreement" with Rank to play in the new
Leisureworld Arena. The details of the contract are now with the solicitors.
There are three key components for the Coventry Crusaders to move forward:
- Facility - When the contract is agreed by both parties the Crusaders
will hopefully play in a first class arena in November 1999
- Finance - The Budweiser League require a three year robust business
plan to satisfy the Franchise Committee
- Development Centre - negotiations with Coventry City Council and the
Rugby Club are still underway about facilities to be built at the former Butts Stadium
