Atherstone United v Boston United - Preview
[DR MARTEN'S LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION]

Atherstone United face two tough games in three days while carrying their worst injury list of the season.

Manager Ron Bradbury was delighted with his side’s performances in taking four points from top teams Boston United and Crawley Town, but there was a heavy price.

He has Gary Redgate, Mark Albrighton, Danny Martin, David Hart and Kim Green nursing injuries and unable to play against Bromsgrove at home tomorrow and Gresley Rovers away on Monday.

Martin and Hart notified the manager of their problems with Sunday telephone calls and Green rang in on Tuesday. Martin was in hospital with a ‘locked’ knee, Hart has ankle ligament damage and Green reported a badly bruised back.

Bradbury said:

"I am down to the bare bones. I can put out eleven players, but they will be made up of untried and inexperienced reserve team youngsters. But other teams get injuries. We shall get by and give it a go."
