Bedworth United - VS Rugby - Preview

Bedworth United's November fixtures show why it costs around £200,000 a year to run a Dr Marten's League side.

United play local rivals VS Rugby four times, twice in the league and twice in the Dr Marten's Cup, but they also have to travel to play Clevedon in the league and then up to North Yorkshire to face Whitby Town, a Northern Premier League side, in the FA Trophy.

Bedworth's manager Billy Hollywood says:

"It looks like being an exhausting month for our players."

The Midland Division side begin the marathon in good heart however after turning their season around by going six matches without defeat.

They beat VS Rugby 4-l recently in the Birmingham Senior Cup so will be hopeful of coming out on top again in the league on Saturday, but Hollywood cautions:

"I would not read too much into that Cup result, VS will be very dangerous. We are at full strength however and we hope to continue our successful run."
