Bedworth’s season has gone off the boil and the sending off
of midfielder John Halford did not help against Shepshed.
Halford was shown the red card in the 54th minute after an off the ball
incident. Bedworth were already behind at that stage but only bad luck prevented them
grabbing an equaliser.
The goal arrived in the 34th minute. A smart passing move between three
Shepshed players ended with Carl Smaller side footing the ball into the net.
United battled hard after the sending off and Jai Stanley and Christy McKenzie both had
efforts cleared off the line.
