Racing fully deserved their half-time lead, but they could not
prevent Newport from snatching two second half goals.
Racing took the lead after 22 minutes when Mark Smith's cross deflected off Newport
defender Danny Hill and into his own net.
But Newport had the better of the second half and drew level in the 56th minute when
Hill's header from a corner kick was blocked on the Warwick line and Darren Robson netted
the rebound.
Hill made up for his own goal lapse of the first half by heading Newport's winner four
minutes from time.
