Moor Green v Racing Club Warwick - Preview
[DR MARTENS MIDLAND DIVISION]

Racing Club manager Martin Bewell will have to leave it late before selecting his side to travel to Moor Green.

Bewell’s assistant manager Alex Irvine could be doubtful for the game because his mother is gravely ill.

Irvine missed Monday night’s Dr Martens Cup defeat against Sutton Coldfield and will make a last minute decision on Saturday’s game.

Bewell said:

"We will obviously leave it up to Alex. It is a difficult time for him at the moment and he has to decide what is best."

Racing could also be without Irvine’s defensive partner Robbie Greetham who twisted his knee a fortnight ago and has struggled since.

And keeper Richard Antiss pulled a groin in Monday’s cup game so Damien Steer is on stand-by to come into the side.

Bewell added:

"Moor Green are unpredictable but they can be a very good team. They had their last game abandoned because their keeper had a very bad ankle injury and a centre-half half also broke a cheekbone in the same game so they are weakened in the same areas as us."
