Blakenhall v VS Rugby - Preview
[DR MARTEN'S MIDLANDS DIVISION]

VS Rugby look set to lose the services of Lee Harriman. The midfielder is to sign for Premier Division Gresley, but Ashley Warner has turned down a similar move.

Boss Martin Sockett said:

"Lee does not want to move but he is being offered more money and has to take it. We are delighted Ash has decided to stop but Lee is leaving with a heavy heart."

VS travel to meet Blakenhall in the league and are able to call on the services of Danny Green, Paul John and Darren Beckett who are back from suspension, but midfielder Jamie Lenton is beginning his second ban of the season after being booked eight times.

Sockett added:

"Jamie is not a dirty player but he has been booked for silly things like pulling and tripping players. He needs to cut it out.

"We lost 2-0 to Blakenhall a couple of weeks ago after going a goal behind early on. That has been our problem all season and it has forced us to chase games all the time and that leaves us vulnerable."

Rugby School teacher Chris Evans is unavailable.
