Blaze Let Out To Continue Winning Run

Coventry Blaze are reigning supreme in all their competitions, but face a gruelling three league games in five days.

Coming off the back of a 4-2 victory over Peterborough Pirates in the Mission Best of British Cup, they now take on Guildford Flames at the Skydome tonight.

Coventry are equal with Fife Flyers on points at the top of the league table, but have four games in hand.

They are also top of the NTL Christmas Cup, Mission Best of British Cup and Planet Ice Shield tables, and have been achieving sell-out success following their move to the city in the summer.

Saturday sees Coventry Blaze travelling to Paisley Pirates to play the Scottish side who despite playing hard have not seen a win for more than a month.

The last time the two sides met the Blaze won 16-2 – the highest in any League game this season.

Staying overnight in Scotland, Coventry Blaze then take on the Edinburgh Capitals at Murrayfield. Edinburgh played very well last weekend and despite narrowly losing both of their games scored 9 goals against Hull Thunder and Basingstoke Bison – two strong teams in the league.
