Rugby Lions v Coventry - Preview

Coventry and Rugby Lions meet each other on Sunday in the big local derby at Webb Ellis Road (3 pm).

The two sides are seeking victory to boost their Allied Dunbar Premier Two league positions and a tight match is expected.

Coventry, 64-9 victors over Fylde at home last weekend, have named virtually their strongest team, while the Lions who crashed at Rotherham, are also almost at full strength.

Coventry are still without Scottish international prop forward Sharp and Canadian lock forward Whitley through injury and Mark Crane and Lee Crofts continue to deputise.

Coventry:
Kilford; Gallagher, Criscuolo, Robinson, Smallwood; Gough, Dawson; Morgan, Soden, Crane, Crofts, Fountaine, Horrobin, Eves, Edwards.

Rugby welcome back To'o Vaega in the centre after his trip to the southern hemisphere to play his 100th game for Western Samoa against Australia.

Rugby Lions:
M Davies; Bale, To'o Vaega, Jasnikowski, Gillooly; Morgan, Bailey; Rees, Burdett, Wingham, Kinsey, Field, A. Davies, Thompson, Ellis.
