[15 OCT 98] COVENTRY BEES SPEEDWAY NEWS
Coventry Bees 49
Wolverhampton 41

Coventry Bees cruised into the semi-finals of the Craven Shield with a 49-41 win at Wolverhampton last night to give them an 18 point aggregate advantage.

Greg Hancock top scored with 15 point and much will be expected of the American tonight when the Bees contest the second leg of the Speedway Star Knockout Cup final against Ipswich at the Foxhall Stadium

The tie, which fell victim to the weather last Friday when Coventry were ahead, sees Coventry having to pull back a four point deficit.
