Youth Attacked In Holbrooks

A 17 year old lad was threatened with a knife and robbed as he walked in the Holbrooks area of Coventry yesterday.

The incident happened around 5.20pm yesterday in Halford Close.

The victim was approached by three men who got out of a blue vehicle. They came up to him from behind and punched him to the side of the head causing a small lump.

The attackers then threatened him with a 6in bladed knife and stole his mobile phone, a walkman and £12.50 cash. They then escaped in the vehicle.

The attackers were three Asian males, one aged 20, 6ft 4in with a centre parting and goatee beard, wearing a white jacket, dark jeans and black boots. The second was aged about 18, just over 5ft tall with a thin moustache and wearing a dark green baseball cap and dark tracksuit. The third was aged about 20, with hair brushed forward, a white coat with three blue stripes in the middle.
