Three members
of staff at the University of Warwick escaped serious damage to their health when a
prankster added cleaning fluid to milk in a refrigerator.
The staff members in the Social Studies building had made their morning coffee when
        they noticed an unusual taste.
On investigation it was found that cleaning fluid had been added to one partly used
carton of milk. The matter is in the hands of the police.
        A university spokesman said:

"Coincidentally two individuals were apprehended by our security staff the
previous day in the Social Studies building. They had been moving furniture around inside
          several rooms.
"They are not part of the university and were handed over to the police. I cannot
say whether the two incidents are linked."

The three members of staff were checked out at the universitys health centre and
were found not to be suffering any ill effects.
